12 Entities Within Ajman Government Platform Participate in GITEX 2023

Ajman, Oct. 15 (WAM) - Ajman Digital Department (DD) announced the participation of 12 government and private entities within the Ajman Government platform in the 43rd edition of GITEX Global from October 16 to 20 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The participating entities under the umbrella of the Government of Ajman will announce more than 40 new services aimed at simplifying the customer journey and providing an easy and seamless experience for partners and community members, and these entities will also sign more than 10 partnership and cooperation agreements with government and private entities to explore the latest innovations and global technologies, and build new partnerships that enhance the digital transformation process in the Emirate of Ajman.

The participating entities will showcase their most prominent technical achievements, in addition to launching a package of the latest digital innovations and smart services.

Ajman Government Pavilion is attended by Ajman Digital Department, Municipality and Planning Department, Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Land and Real Estate Regulatory Department, Port and Customs Department, Ajman Police General Headquarters, Department of Finance, Human Resources Department, Transport Authority, Department of Economic Development, Department of Tourism Development, and Ajman Bank from the private sector.

Her Excellency Dr. Ohoud Ali Shuhail, Director General of Ajman Digital Department, expressed her happiness with the participation of the Government of Ajman in GITEX Global through a unified platform to exchange experiences, build successful partnerships and learn about the best experiences and technologies. She said that the Ajman Government platform at GITEX 2023 is witnessing a development in scientific and technical events and activities to be a distinguished destination that attracts visitors and enables the participating entities to showcase their distinctive digital initiatives, explore innovative ideas, and launch their new projects.

She stressed that the participation of the Government of Ajman in GITEX 2023 comes as an extension of the great successes achieved during its previous participation in the exhibition. She said we are working with our partners from the government and private sectors to transform the Emirate of Ajman into a smart city that achieves the welfare of citizens and residents on its land.

For his part, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Ajman Port and Customs, said that the Department intends to launch a bouquet of the latest digital technology innovations, during its participation within the Ajman Government platform at GITEX 2023.

His Excellency revealed that the package of new projects, which rely on the technology of future ideas, will cover a wide range of fields, including the customs and maritime sectors, and through these initiatives, the Department seeks to consolidate its unique imprint in the path of digital transformation and artificial intelligence investment to provide integrated services through channels characterized by flexibility, efficiency and speed, and these efforts respond to the vision of the Emirate of Ajman to achieve customer happiness.

He stressed the importance of GITEX as one of the most prominent information technology events in the world, stressing that the Department's participation in this global event comes within the framework of its digital strategy, which aims to use the latest technologies to provide its services efficiently and effectively, and the Department seeks to guide and encourage the future of digital applications, virtual solutions and artificial intelligence technologies to provide proactive services to customers.

"The Department pays great attention to participating in these prominent global events, pointing out the importance of the growing role of technology in improving the quality of life for various segments of society, especially customers, and through its participation in this prominent occasion, the Department seeks to introduce the public and experts to the advanced and innovative technologies it works on, with the aim of facilitating the customer experience and enhancing his happiness."

For his part, His Excellency Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that GITEX has proven its ability to lead digital transformations in the country, the region and the world, and has imposed itself as a platform through which the latest technologies and methods of modern technology based on the uses of artificial intelligence are traded, stressing that the exhibition is an important platform to highlight the UAE's position as a global center for investment in modern technologies and integrated smart solutions aimed at improving the quality of life of the individual and society and increasing the productivity of institutions.

He stressed that the participation of the Ajman Chamber in the activities of GITEX Technology Exhibition annually under the umbrella of the Government of Ajman reflects the Chamber's efforts to develop its services and initiatives directed to the development of the business of private sector enterprises, and the Chamber seeks to develop its partnership agenda with government and private agencies, in addition to exchanging ideas and experiences on the latest technical means, as well as the Chamber aims to monitor the best practices and techniques of artificial intelligence and circulate them to its members from private sector establishments in support of increasing production and improving business management.

His Excellency added: "We at GITEX Technology are pleased to share and launch our latest services, products and innovative ideas, and explore the distinguished services and digital and smart technologies displayed by government and private entities participating in the most prominent and important technical event regionally and globally, and in general, the exhibition has a leading role and a direct impact on developing and foreseeing the future of all sectors, especially the economic sector."

Al Suwaidi invited all government agencies, the private sector and members of the Ajman Chamber of establishments to benefit from the World Expo and see the latest uses of artificial intelligence in business development and simplification and ease of procedures, considering artificial intelligence has become one of the most important tools to raise the level of productivity and business development and an essential means to create the future of the economic sector.

His Excellency Rashid Abdul Rahman bin Jubran Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Government Human Resources Department, stressed that GITEX 2023 is an opportunity to highlight the achievements of the government digital transformation process in the Emirate of Ajman through a unified platform that includes all government agencies and displays a series of projects, initiatives and digital services in the emirate.

His Excellency explained that the participation of the Human Resources Department in the exhibition comes within the framework of the Department's keenness to provide the requirements of digital transformation that are in line with the strategy of the Government of Ajman, and to provide distinguished and innovative services to develop skills, increase competencies, and benefit from expertise and technologies, explaining that participation in this event is an opportunity to meet with leaders and international technology companies and learn about the most prominent technical developments in the world and the latest artificial intelligence technologies with the participation of technology companies and government agencies, to present the latest innovations.

His Excellency pointed to the Department's keenness to improve services through technical systems and employ the latest technologies and best practices in line with the government's directions to develop skills, increase the efficiency of human resources in the Emirate of Ajman and contribute to achieving general satisfaction with the government services provided.

In turn, His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, stressed that the Department considers GITEX an important event that brings together minds, experts and bright experiences in the field of digital services, smart transformation and the employment of artificial intelligence in various fields of worklife, explaining that the Department is keen to participate every year in the most important technical event in the world, and puts its distinctive mark, and meets with experts, specialists, major companies and leading bodies, to exchange experiences and see the most important ideas and realistic projects that improve the work. It casts a positive shadow on all aspects of life.

His Excellency said: "During the previous editions of GITEX, the Department was able to review its hard work to ensure the quality of life and the happiness of the community in the Emirate of Ajman, and adopted its integrated work approach to serve the customer at any time and place, and our participation in the exhibition supports the strategy of development and permanent improvement to provide the best through updating applications and issuing the finest ones, which achieves the best results.

His Excellency added that the Department has prepared a comprehensive and integrated plan to launch smart applications and services.

He pointed out that the Department is proud of its participation under the umbrella of the Government of Ajman along with 11 government and private entities in the emirate, reviewing the most important technical achievements, initiatives and current and future projects, to enhance the quality of government services and secure an exceptional customer experience.

His Excellency Marwan Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, stressed that with the development of the digital world and the opening of markets, the importance of joint cooperation between the public and private sectors increases. He said: "Participating in international exhibitions such as GITEX gives us the opportunity to explore the latest innovations and technologies offered, and work to employ them to provide more effective services and an improved user experience for all DLD's customers."

His Excellency explained that interacting with technology industry partners helps us develop our digital strategies and services, not only to meet expectations, but also to exceed them and provide what is best for the citizens and residents of the Emirate of Ajman.

He pointed out that the ultimate goal of employing modern technologies and smart digital solutions lies in achieving the convenience of customers and facilitating their procedures, stressing the importance of joint cooperation and continuous communication with partners in the technology sector to achieve this.

"In this edition of the exhibition, we are focusing on showcasing our experiences in the field of digital services including SADAD Ajman and Tawrid platforms, which are in line with our renewed strategy to support the digital transformation in the Emirate of Ajman."

His Excellency Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Hamrani, Director General of the Department of Economic Development in Ajman, said: "Our participation under the umbrella of the Government of Ajman in the largest technology exhibition "GITEX Global" translates the vision and directives of the leadership to build a more flexible and sustainable future economic model, based on empowering various vital sectors and moving them towards new horizons.

Al Hamrani pointed to the influential position of the digital world, which is emerging day after day, and the Department's keenness to adopt modern smart solutions and digital innovations for their important role in providing an attractive economic climate, facilitating doing business and enhancing the quality of life of community members.

For his part, His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, Director General of the Department of Tourism Development in the Emirate of Ajman, expressed his aspiration to provide distinguished services and experiences to visitors and customers, praising the importance of relying on modern technology and automating services as a key means to achieve the strategic objectives of the Government of Ajman.

His Excellency Omar Mohammed Lootah, Director General of Ajman Transport Authority, said: "GITEX 2023 is one of the largest exhibitions that the UAE receives annually, which aims to transfer knowledge and connect minds in technical achievements, noting that the exhibition is a platform to review achievements and developments in the technical field, which contributes to stimulating technical competition between institutions at the local and international levels.

He added: "The UAE recorded in the exhibition its most important technical achievements at all levels and in various fields, as it is an opportunity to enhance cooperation between various institutions and bodies in the exchange of experiences and modern knowledge.

His Excellency pointed out that the exhibition is keen annually to maintain the continuity of development in conjunction with the remarkable progress witnessed by technology in the world, pointing to the follow-up of the event and keeping pace with the speed of technical developments in the world and how to harness them to serve humanity.

For his part, H.E. Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of DLD in Ajman, said that GITEX is the most prominent and important IT exhibition in the world and a favorable opportunity to meet with pioneers in the technology sector and actors in the fields of artificial intelligence, stressing the Department's keenness to build new digital partnerships that support its efforts and endeavors towards the sustainable development of the digital system and enhance the efficiency of its institutional performance based on integrated and harmonious processes that ensure the provision of proactive services of high quality.

His Excellency explained that the Department, through its participation in GITEX 2023 within the Ajman Government platform, intends to showcase its new digital services and transfer its expertise in the field of automating and promoting government procedures through the various channels available at the exhibition, as well as direct communication with distinguished expertise and competencies in the technical field and achieving the maximum benefit to continue the continuous development of the Department's innovative digital systems and programs.
