Ajman, Aug. 15 (WAM) -- His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, praised the existing relations between the UAE and Estonia and bilateral cooperation in all fields, especially the field of digital technology. His Highness stressed that the world is developing and must keep pace with this development, and the wise leadership of the UAE attaches special importance to the development of government institutions in general and in the Emirate of Ajman in particular in order to achieve the comprehensive renaissance and the desired progress in all fields, especially the digital services provided to the community from individuals, investors, businessmen, strategic partners or dealers.
This came during a meeting with Toomas Hendrik Ilvs, former President of Estonia and founder of digital transformation in his country, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting the country, during which views were exchanged on a number of common interests and reviewed a number of projects and the latest strategic directions for the use of technology and digital technology.
His Highness stressed that the UAE is striving to transform all government services into digital services, expressing his hope to see all services in the Government of Ajman as well and its institutions and bodies have been transformed into digital services as soon as possible.
"We want the Emirate of Ajman to be a pioneer in the competitiveness of providing digital services and to be a pioneer in this field and a contribution to the cultural and technical development witnessed by the UAE, so we are working in the Government of Ajman to develop infrastructure facilities and public services, especially digital and technical services, to reach everyone through the strategic plan adopted by the Government of Ahman," His Highness said.
The guest gave an overview of the latest strategic directions for the use of technology, the digital transformation plan and the stages reached by his country in this field.
The former President of Estonia praised the joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields, especially digital technology. He praised the civilizational development witnessed by the UAE in various fields.
