Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship activates a range of proactive services

Abu Dhabi, Dec. 13 (WAM) -- The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) announced the activation of a set of proactive services, including the "My Family" platform and a number of individual services developed within the initiatives of the Proactive Services Department at the Ministry of Possibilities, with the aim of enhancing the speed and effectiveness of services and providing them before demand.

This step comes as an embodiment of the UAE government's directions to develop proactive future services provided before demand to facilitate the life of the community and empower customers, and as part of efforts to develop a future generation of government services.

The activation of the proactive services package aims to provide a smooth, fast and integrated customer experience through services provided without request and in a few minutes, and builds on the efforts to develop government services provided by the Authority, since the launch of the comprehensive package of "Mabrouk Ma Yak" services for registering newborns and preparing their identification papers automatically.

DEWA works to support the government work system in cooperation with its strategic partners to enhance integration between government agencies in providing proactive services characterized by efficiency, flexibility, speed and ease.

Brigadier Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Acting Director General of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, said that the "My Family" platform is an innovative model for government services, and is the harvest of various initiatives launched by the Authority over the past few years, aimed at providing an innovative, distinguished and pioneering service model for the government work system.

The "My Family" platform includes 12 proactive services shared by 10 government agencies, to facilitate transactions related to the life of the national family through its various stages, and aims to provide services before the request to ensure that members of the national family are able to complete their transactions easily and conveniently, which makes it easier for customers to establish their families, and supports the concepts of sound education and the care children need that enhance family cohesion, in addition to automatically booking the primary services and care services that children need, and preparing them for the school stage.

The "My Family" platform constitutes a qualitative leap in the government work system by providing service packages to customers before requesting them, linked to a set of important services in the customer's life, provided in line with the needs of the Emirati family by dispensing with paper services that required filling out more than 12 service requests and downloading more than 50 documents and documents, and in the new transformation they are implemented quickly and easily without the need to visit service centers or submit documents.

DEWA also launched individual proactive services, including renewing the ID card for UAE citizens holding expired or nearing expiry ID cards, renewing the passport for UAE nationals who have expired or nearing expiry passports, extending the visa for holders of extendable visas that are about to expire while inside the UAE, and modifying the status of individuals who have been issued a new visa while they are inside the UAE, by analyzing customer data and anticipating their needs by designing proactive services using artificial intelligence.

Proactive services contribute to enhancing customers' awareness and knowledge of services and reducing the number of transaction steps.

In this context, Al Khaili stressed: "The Authority is keen to facilitate procedures and provide the best proactive services, embodying the directives of the wise leadership to design the concept of proactive government work and develop its mechanisms to reach the best results, to keep pace with the requirements of the future and improve the quality of life of the community, by working to sustainably develop and provide its services in accordance with the highest standards and best practices efficiently, quickly and effectively, and proactively before demand."

For his part, His Excellency Mohammed bin Taliah, Head of Government Services of the UAE Government, stressed that the design of innovative and unconventional business models embodies the UAE government's directions to provide highly efficient future services within integrated packages and proactively provide them before ordering them to meet the aspirations of customers to complete their transactions easily, easily and quickly.

He said that the "My Family" platform was developed based on the opinions and suggestions of the customers themselves to suit their future aspirations and meet them proactively, by developing an integrated plan to follow up on the stages of their lives, starting from the stage of marriage and establishing a family, the stages of pregnancy and childbirth, and up to the stage of child development, which reflects a new generation of government services with a focus on providing the best government services before demanding.

For her part, Her Excellency Ohood Shuhail, Director General of Ajman Digital Department, stressed that the launch of proactive services packages within the Ministry of Possibilities indicates the integration of the work of government agencies to provide the best services to customers proactively "before demand", in order to provide an exceptional customer experience, which includes the public's dealings with one government regardless of the service provider.

She said: "Digital Ajman is pleased to be part of the success of this initiative, praising the cooperation of government and private entities to achieve the strategic objectives of the UAE, which resulted in these proactive value-added services through linking through the Ajman Government platform," and continued: "We are proud that Digital Ajman has this important role, and to be partners of the Ministry of Possibilities in the success of this initiative."

Shuhail added: "The proactive government services platform is an honorable model and an important step, saving time and effort and contributing to achieving customer happiness, and "My Family" constitutes a platform for leading government services, as it is classified as the first Emirati achievement of its kind in the world, and is a key pillar for building the happiness of the Emirati family."

It is worth noting that the work system of the Virtual Department of Proactive Services within the "Ministry of Possibilities", launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, focuses on developing a set of government ideas and experiences to provide proactive service packages and enhance their sustainability, based on the aspirations of customers, in an innovative model of government services to complete their transactions easily, easily and quickly by relying on flexible mechanisms and creating distinguished services before demand that facilitate people's lives and ensure Finding proactive and radical solutions to challenges and turning them into opportunities, which contributes to building a better future for future generations.
